For promoting language professionalism, the Society offers consultancy and other services relevant to language education in Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland on a voluntary basis. For example, consultancy projects have been run for the Department of Foreign Languages of Hefei University. Projects for higher school teachers have been run for Education Bureaus of Chizhou, Anhui Province; both Gaoyao and Sihui, Guangdong Province; Huaxian, Henan Province; and Pingan, Qinghai Province.
